Kasia Kryczmanik is a dedicated legal assistant at Unified LLP, bringing extensive experience and passion to her role. She began her career in 2021 with a sole practitioner specializing in a broad range of legal fields, including family law, personal injury, civil litigation, and real estate. This diverse exposure sparked her deep interest in family law, where she has focused her expertise since 2022.

Before joining Unified LLP, Kasia honed her skills at a prominent Calgary law firm. There, she developed a profound understanding of legal procedures and how to leverage the law effectively to support clients. Her comprehensive experience has significantly enriched her capabilities as both a person and a professional. At Unified LLP, Kasia manages all facets of a client file from inception, overseeing administrative tasks, file management, financial disclosure preparation, and drafting court documents and agreements. She is also responsible for maintaining daily interactions with clients, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional care.

Outside of work, Kasia enjoys dog-sitting her nephew Clayton, solving puzzles, building LEGO sets, listening to podcasts, watching true crime documentaries, reading, and experimenting with new baking recipes.

Jessica Tancredo

Student-at-Law / Family

Jessica Tancredo is a student-at-law of Unified LLP assisting with family law matters.

Jessica’s assists lawyers in delivering excellent service. She is involved in all aspects of client and file management, including preparation of financial statements, disclosure briefs, drafting and filing of court pleadings, and the day-to-day interaction with clients.

Karoline De Carvalho

Law Clerk / Family

 

Karoline is a law clerk in the Family Law department at Unified LLP. She collaborates closely with clients every step of the way in their family law journey.

 

She oversees all aspects of client and file management, including preparing financial statements, disclosure briefs and drafting court document. Karoline approaches each matter with care and dedication to streamline the process for our clients, recognizing the emotional toll of family law cases.

 

Karoline began her legal career as a legal assistant at Rodrigues Paiva LLP (now Unified LLP), which sparked her keen interest in family law and led her to pursue her Law Clerk Diploma at Seneca College. Prior to returning to the firm, she worked at other law firms where she has gained valuable experience in family law matters.

 

Fluent in both English and Portuguese, Karoline ensures effective communication and understanding with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Kaitlyn Ramer

Paralegal / Law Clerk / Property and Commerce

Kaitlyn Ramer is a paralegal at Unified LLP and a member of the firm’s Property and Commerce group. She assists with firm’s commercial, municipal, real estate and business matters. Kaitlyn also advocates for clients at the Small Claims Court.

Kaitlyn provides advice and service that is efficient, effective and resolution-based. Ms. Ramer routinely assists with the firm’s high value litigation and transactional matters and is involved in all aspects of client and file management, including preparation of disclosure briefs, drafting and filing of court pleadings, drafting transactional documents, and preparing liens and other registered instruments.

Kaitlyn began her career at Unified LLP (now Unified LLP), and is a graduate of the Paralegal program at Conestoga College, where she was awarded the Silver Medal for completing the program with the second highest average in her class.

Dominika Parker

Law Clerk / Family

Dominika Parker is a law clerk at Unified LLP. Her area of specialty is family law, including divorce, custody and access, property, support and domestic contracts. She has been working in the area of family law since 2005.

Prior to working at Unified LLP, Dominika worked at the Superior Court of Justice in Toronto, dealing with family case conferences and motions and she was a law clerk to a family lawyer at another Toronto law firm.

Since Dominika’s entire career has been spent working in the field of family law, she has gained a deep understanding of family law rules and court procedures. Her extensive knowledge and experience ensure that the client files run smoothly and efficiently from start to finish.

Dominika is involved in all aspects of a client and file management, including preparation of financial statements, disclosure briefs, drafting and filing of court pleadings and the day-to-day interaction with clients.

Joanne Morton

Law Clerk / Labour / Professional Discipline

Joanne Morton is a Law Clerk with Unified LLP’s Labour group. Joanne assists our lawyers in the areas of labour and administration law. She is involved in everything from preparing documents for litigation and arbitration to day-to-day client interactions.

Joanne’s dedication keeps Unified LLP’s Labour group running. Joanne plays an invaluable role in supporting Kirsty, Austen, Priyanka, Adam, and Ali’s work.

Joanne has over 23 years of experience in office administration and management. Prior to becoming a law clerk, Joanne gained a wealth of experience in private investigation and loss prevention for 7 years. This breadth of transferable skills and experience allows Joanne to approach her work in innovative ways.
