Christopher Kim is a Co-Managing Partner of Unified LLP and specializes in Employment Law and Disability Insurance Law.
Chris specializes in matters involving short-term disability benefit and long-term disability benefit denials/terminations, wrongful dismissals, restrictive covenants (non-competition, non-solicitation, non-disclosure), workplace harassment, workplace bullying, workplace discrimination, unpaid wages, unpaid commission and bonus entitlements, including short term incentive plans (STIP) or long-term incentive plans (LTIP) such as stock options and restricted
stock units.
Amongst his clients, Chris is known for being frank, straightforward, and for providing efficient and comprehensive legal services. Taking a goal-oriented approach, through meticulous planning and strategizing, Chris works with his clients to maximize their claims and to ensure that all available options are considered before taking the next steps.
Most importantly, he is always available to his clients.
Chris regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, as well as various Administrative Tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, Ministry of Labour, and the Canadian Industrial Relations Board.
