Sohrab Naderi

Lawyer / Employment / Labour

Sohrab is an associate lawyer with Unified LLP’s Employment and Labour Group.

Sohrab lives and breathes employment law, not only for its intellectual and academic side, but also because it allows him to offer a helping hand to folks from all walks of life.  He understands the power imbalance that very often permeates the employment relationship, and it shapes how he carries out his practice.

In his extensive experience as a lawyer, Sohrab has appeared for clients at the Small Claims Court, Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and Superior Court of Justice, as well as represented clients in countless mediations and negotiations. Sohrab brings his lateral thinking, meticulous drafting, and friendly attitude to every case he’s on, making sure clients get the legal services they deserve.

Before joining Unified LLP, Sohrab worked as a lawyer at a leading employment law boutique, where he gained experience representing both employees and employers.  Prior to getting called to the bar, Sohrab helped cultivate a space for Asian-identifying law students to make connections and network as Co-President of the Queen’s Asian Law Students’ Association. As well, Sohrab cut his teeth at the Queen’s Elder Law Clinic, drafting wills and powers of attorney for seniors in financial need.

Sohrab also serves as the Revising Author of Chapter 5: Human Rights in the Canadian Workplace in the leading national textbook publication, Employment Law in Canada.

Outside of work, Sohrab enjoys baking and bothering his cat, Rae.
