Ryan Ehrenworth

Lawyer / Labour / Professional Regulation

Ryan Ehrenworth is an associate lawyer within Unified LLP’s Labour Group. Ryan is a passionate defender of workers’ rights and will work with union clients to find creative solutions to fit their unique needs.

Ryan commenced his career in labour law while working in-house at LiUNA, Local 183 – North America’s largest construction union. Working closely with union representatives and their membership alike, Ryan represented the union in numerous proceedings before the labour relations board and private arbitrators, as well as at other specialized administrative bodies such as the Coroner’s Court and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal. Ryan also sat as an important member of the bargaining committee at province-wide collective bargaining negotiations, including acting as lead counsel on occasion. As a law student, Ryan immersed himself in the community, working at his alma mater’s legal clinic where he gained valuable advocacy experience. Among Ryan’s many successes at law school include achieving first class standing and acting as a teaching assistant.

Ryan is thoughtful and compassionate, but fierce when it comes to fighting for his clients. A nimble litigator, his practice includes grievance arbitration, collective bargaining, professional regulation and all things related to the labour movement.

Outside of the office, Ryan is a long-suffering Toronto Maple Leafs fan, an avid (mediocre) golfer, and an amateur cicerone.
