Chris Reid

Chris Reid is an Associate with Unified LLP’s Labour group. His practice focuses on professional regulation, administrative law, and labour law. He is known as a detail-oriented and determined advocate and someone who has a strong commitment to advancing the needs of his clients. In addition, Chris brings to his practice valuable insights into professional regulation gained as an investigator for a health regulatory college in Ontario.

Chris started his career at an administrative law boutique specializing in appeals and judicial review applications in cases involving refugee claimants. He is a fierce defender of social justice, having worked on cases concerning national security, human rights, and Charter issues before the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Canada.

While in law school, Chris was an active member of the community. He served as a student volunteer at the University of Windsor’s Legal Aid clinic representing vulnerable members of the public at the Social Benefits Tribunal and the Landlord and Tennant Board. Chris was also Vice President of Operations for the Black Law Student Association and Students for Advocacy Through the Arts.
